Cheney entered their tilt with Chaparral on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Roadrunners by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cheney easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-21.

Berkley McKinley paced Cheney's offense, picking up five kills. McKinley got some help from Meredith Wewe and her six assists. Trinity Griffin and Landry Voth kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Cheney's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Chaparral, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-12.

Looking ahead, Cheney will head out on the road to face off against Garden Plain on Tuesday. As for Chaparral, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Kingman on the 30th.
