Preview: Sharon Eagles vs. Attleboro Bombardiers
The Sharon Eagles will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Attleboro Bombardiers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Sharon can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They managed a 22-16 win over Hopkinton. The win was just what Sharon needed coming off of a 33-7 loss in their prior matchup.
Sharon can attribute much of their success to Jacob Mcloughlin, who picked up 83 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 27 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes.
Meanwhile, after only six points in their last matchup, Attleboro made sure to put some points up on the board against Newton North on Thursday. Attleboro walked away with a 42-30 win over Newton North. The win was some much needed relief for Attleboro as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Sharon's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Attleboro, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-7.
