Environmental Charter will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Environmental Charter will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Lennox Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Environmental Charter walked away with a 16-12 win over Lennox Academy last Thursday. The White Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Hawthorne Math & Science Academy not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8, 2024. Everything went their way against George Washington Prep as Hawthorne Math & Science Academy made off with a 20-6 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Aviators as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Environmental Charter pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Hawthorne Math & Science Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
