Basketball Recap: Imlay City Takes a Loss

If Imlay City was riding high fresh off their 51-15 takedown of Almont last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Imlay City Spartans had to suffer through a 57-29 loss at the hands of the Yale Bulldogs. The Spartans have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Imlay City's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5. As for Yale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Imlay City will be playing in front of their home fans against Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Yale has already played their next contest (against Croswell-Lexington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
