Volleyball Recap: Omaha Northwest Triumphs

The Omaha Northwest Huskies narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the St. Paul Buckaroos 2-1.

Malea Robinson paced Omaha Northwest's offense, picking up nine kills. Robinson got some help from Kami Montgomery and her 15 assists. Jalyssa Trejo-Keyser and Aubrey Tolbert kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Omaha Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for St. Paul, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

Omaha Northwest will venture away from home to challenge Westview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Paul, they will welcome Perrydale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
