There's no place like home for West, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the East Leopards on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 21-25, 25-18.

West's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Bigelow led the charge by getting 12 digs.

West was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 26 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.

West's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 9-7. As for East, their defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-19.

West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Highland on the 10th. As for East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Bear River on the 9th.
