Manteo entered their tilt with Camden County on Wednesday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bruins a 2-0 shutout. Given Manteo's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Camden County are ranked 205th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Benji Carrillo and Eli Jones scored both of Manteo's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Manteo's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Camden County, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-3.
