Basketball Preview: Enterprise Bulldogs vs. McLaurin Tigers
The Enterprise Bulldogs will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the McLaurin Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Enterprise had to suffer through a rough 58-26 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Enterprise has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Enterprise got a solid performance out of Makayla Sullivan, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Sullivan hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.
Meanwhile, McLaurin's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 15th straight loss. They took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Noxubee County.
Enterprise has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for McLaurin, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with that loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Enterprise strolled past the Tigers when the teams last played last Friday by a score of 50-32. Does Enterprise have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
