Saucon Valley extended their winning streak to five on Wednesday, bumping them up to 7-2. They came out on top against the Jim Thorpe Olympians by a score of 7-2. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Olympians, too.

Landon Huber was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Brady Flores also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

As for Jim Thorpe, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Jim Thorpe's side, Cole Lazorick was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Michael Antignani was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
