Baseball Recap: Rocky Grove Gets the Win

Rocky Grove's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Oil City Oilers 11-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Orioles considering their one-run performance the contest before.

The team relied heavily on Isaac Grigsby, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Rocky Grove is 4-1 when Grigsby posts two or more stolen bases, but 6-8 otherwise. Preston Keith was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Rocky Grove now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Oil City, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
