Soccer Recap: Calallen Takes a Loss

Calallen pushed their score to six the last time they played Jones, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Calallen Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jones Trojans. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Calallen's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Jones, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calallen has already played their next game (against Bishop), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jones will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ingleside at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
