Football Recap: Von Steuben Gets the Win

Von Steuben got themselves on the board against Hansberry on Saturday, but Hansberry never followed suit. They snuck past the Bengals with a 6-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Christian Welk threw for 55 yards and one TD. Charlie Babe was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards. On the ground, Josiah Perez rushed for 37 yards.

Von Steuben now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hansberry, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Von Steuben will welcome Marine Leadership Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Hansberry, they have already played their next contest, an 8-6 defeat against Bowen/Baker College Prep on the 18th.
