Neenah and Appleton West are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Rockets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Terrors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Appleton West will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Neenah extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Rockets came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against Hortonville. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rockets have posted against the Polar Bears since April 11, 2022.

Meanwhile, Appleton West hadn't done well against Appleton North recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Terrors came out on top against the Lightning by a score of 7-6 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Terrors have posted since May 29, 2025.

Quinn Meyers was incredible, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Charlie Blevins was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Neenah's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Appleton West, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 2-12.

Neenah got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April against Appleton West by a conclusive 17-5 score. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do the Terrors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
