Parkview gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They breezed past the Maumelle Hornets to the tune of 42-14. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row dating back to last season.

Maumelle's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Parkview is taking a road trip to take on Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Maumelle, they will face off against Vilonia at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
