Volleyball Recap: Trumbull Takes a Loss

If Trumbull was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Darien on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Greenwich Cardinals on Saturday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Cardinals since November 4, 2021.

Trumbull was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-7.
