Football Recap: William Tennent Comes Up Short

William Tennent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters, falling 41-18. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 21-7 to the Hatters when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

William Tennent's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Hatboro-Horsham, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. William Tennent will host Springfield Township at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.43 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hatboro-Horsham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wissahickon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
