Soccer Recap: Carmel vs. Marist
While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Carmel was not quite Marist's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Marist RedHawks by a score of 1-0. The Corsairs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the RedHawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Carmel has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-1 record this season. As for Marist, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-4.
Carmel will be playing at home against Stevenson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marist, they are on the road again on Wednesday to play Niles Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m.
