Soccer Game Preview: Dana Hills vs. Laguna Beach

The Dana Hills Dolphins will head out to challenge the Laguna Beach Breakers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Dana Hills is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Dana Hills will bounce into Monday's game after beating Capistrano Valley, who they had gone 0-8-1 against in their nine prior meetings. Dana Hills won by a goal and slipped past Capistrano Valley 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Dolphins were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Laguna Beach kept a clean sheet against Sage Hill on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lightning with a sharp 3-0 win.

Julian Reichel and Jackson Arrasin scored all three of Laguna Beach's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Laguna Beach's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3-1. As for Dana Hills, their record is now 4-0.

Dana Hills took their win against Laguna Beach when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dana Hills since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
