Basketball Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were beaten by the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning 88-30. While losing is never fun, the Mariners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 461st, while the Lightning are ranked 114th).

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Lake Country Lutheran, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Francis nor Lake Country Lutheran have any future games scheduled.
