Tri-Valley kept a clean sheet against Marian Catholic on Saturday. They blew past Marian Catholic 14-0. The result was nothing new for Tri-Valley, who have now won eight contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Marian Catholic from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Nathan Hillard led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for eight goals all by himself.

The win (which was Tri-Valley's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those four matches. As for Marian Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Coming up, Tri-Valley will square off against Minersville at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-Valley's defense better be ready for this one: Minersville have averaged an impressive 4.8 goals per game this season. As for Marian Catholic, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Tamaqua at 5:00 p.m.
