Volleyball Game Preview: Green Canyon Wolves vs. Jordan Beetdiggers

Green Canyon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Dixie with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Green Canyon was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-15.

Green Canyon's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Griffin Blau, who had 22 digs and three assists, and Landon Sam Fong, who had six digs. Blau has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times he's played.

Meanwhile, Jordan entered their tilt with Hillcrest on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Huskies.

The win didn't come easy: Hillcrest scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

Green Canyon's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-9. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.
