Softball Recap: Pine Plains Takes a Loss

Pine Plains and Tuckahoe squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Pine Plains had to settle for second. They lost 6-0 to the Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in May.

Pine Plains has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Tuckahoe, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Pine Plains does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tuckahoe, they will square off against Ticonderoga at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Sentinels will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
