Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring Creek). They breezed past the Lowry Buckaroos to the tune of 42-0 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Buckaroos: they've now won four in a row.

McCoy McArtor produced another solid effort rushing for 174 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry, and also throwing for 69 yards and one TD on only six passes. Spring Creek is undefeated when McArtor posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise. Snowdon Bear Williams got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Spring Creek, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Bear Williams, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
