Soccer Game Preview: Peninsula vs. Timberline

The Peninsula Seahawks will head out on the road to face off against the Timberline Blazers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Peninsula is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Central Kitsap. That's two games in a row now that Peninsula have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Timberline fell victim to Capital and their airtight defense on Saturday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0.

Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Timberline, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Peninsula couldn't quite get it done against Timberline in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Seahawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
