Football Game Preview: Wilson vs. Falconer/Cassadaga Valley

Wilson will be playing at home against Falconer/Cassadaga Valley at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Wilson are coming into the matchup hot, having won five in a row.

Last Friday, Wilson put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the contest and then some with a 35-0 victory over Royalton-Hartland. Wilson had a senior duo take command as Marcel Wilson caught passes for 58 yards and 3 touchdowns and Steve Frerichs's passed for 105 yards and 3 touchdowns. Frerichs has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.

Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their match two weeks ago, Falconer/Cassadaga Valley were humbled. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 26-47 punch to the gut against Southwestern. Falconer/Cassadaga Valley were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 12-34.

Wilson were able to grind out a solid win over Falconer/Cassadaga Valley the last time the two teams met, winning 57-43. Wilson's victory shoved Falconer/Cassadaga Valley out of the playoffs, so expect the team will have a target on their back in this one.
