Grand Meadow's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Kenyon-Wanamingo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Things could have been worse for Kenyon-Wanamingo, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-33 loss to Grand Meadow in their previous matchup back in December of 2023.
