Freedom hasn't had much luck on the road recently (they'd lost six straight) but thanks in part to Peter Radigan that streak is no more. The Freedom Patriots secured a 71-65 W over the Strawberry Crest Chargers on Friday thanks in part to Radigan, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 20 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last six games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Josh DeVore, who posted seven points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayson Lewis, who earned 20 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. The dominant performance gave Lewis a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Hall, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards.

Freedom's record is now 3-4. As for Strawberry Crest, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Freedom wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 81-26 defeat against Discovery on the 7th. As for Strawberry Crest, they will square off against Wharton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Strawberry Crest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.5 points per game this season.
