There's no place like home for Notre Dame, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Silverdale Academy Seahawks a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering Notre Dame have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Silverdale Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Saylor Schalk (2), Ava Lovelace, and Georgia Smith.

Notre Dame now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Silverdale Academy, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Notre Dame will square off against rival Grace Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Silverdale Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Boyd-Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
