            Basketball Recap: Genesee Bulldogs vs. Timberline Spartans        
        
		
        
        
            Genesee was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They took  a  59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberline Spartans. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won  49-39.
Genesee lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Noah Bollman, who  posted 21  points.  Joshua Ketcheson was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double on ten points and nine  rebounds.

 Even though they lost, Genesee  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive boards in three consecutive  games.
Genesee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Timberline,  the  victory  got them back to even at 6-6.
 Genesee and Highland will meet in a dog eat dog contest  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Genesee is facing Highland at the right time seeing as Highland is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. Timberline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
