Volleyball Recap: Union Colony Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Union Colony Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Belleview Christian Bruins. The Timberwolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bruins from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The 3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Union Colony Prep lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Belleview Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anessa Schanke, who hit 71.4% for ten kills and 25 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Schanke has posted since October 7th.

Union Colony Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Belleview Christian, they moved to 5-18 with that win, which also ended their six-match losing streak.

As of now, neither Union Colony Prep nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
