Recap: Christian Academy Saints vs. Greenwood Christian Hawks
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Christian Academy Saints had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 52-40 victory over the Hawks. Winning may never get old, but Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their 12th in a row.
Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lee Dahlberg, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Ty Kennedy, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for Greenwood Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-7.
Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hilton Head Prep on February 24th. Hopefully Hilton Head Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday. Greenwood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
