Volleyball Recap: Todd County Comes Up Short

If Todd County was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Stanley County on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons lost 3-0 to Valentine on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered since September 30th.

Todd County couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Valentine a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 30-28, 25-12.

Todd County's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Valentine, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Todd County will host Bennett County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valentine, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Crawford.
