Baseball Recap: Escambia Gators vs. Northview Chiefs
Escambia won the last time they faced Northview and things went their way on Friday too. The Escambia Gators narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Northview Chiefs 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.

Christian Stone was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 4-for-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Escambia will welcome Davidson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northview, they will be playing at home against Escambia County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
