Volleyball Recap: Floyd County Triumphs + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grayson County, Floyd County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Liberty Minutemen. The win continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Minutemen: they've now won three in a row.

Floyd County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-18, 25-7, 25-19.

The victory got Floyd County back to even at 1-1. As for Liberty, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Floyd County will take on Fleming at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Liberty and James River will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
