Basketball Game Preview: New Haven Bulldogs vs. Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints

New Haven is 0-10 against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger since November of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Bulldogs will host the Saints at 6:00 p.m. New Haven has given up an average of 57 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

New Haven is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Woodlan on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bulldogs were dealt a 61-23 defeat at the hands of the Warriors. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The losing side was boosted by A'Lanah Webb, who shot 45% from the field en route to 16 points along with eight boards and three steals. Hannah Goodrich also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger). They breezed past Fort Wayne North Side to the tune of 67-22 on Thursday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-12.

The win snapped Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for New Haven, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
