Jamison Seese Turns in Season-Best Effort

Heritage was led to victory by Jamison Seese, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Seese threw for 212 yards and seven touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown. Heritage is 3-1 when Seese posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

The victory got Heritage back to even at 4-4. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles faces off against Highlands Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tanner Terch Has Career Rushing Day

On Thursday, Heritage got the W thanks in part to Tanner Terch playing the best football he has all season. Terch picked up 135 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 70 yards.

On the season, Terch has caught 10 touchdowns while averaging 93.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four receiving touchdowns.

Veazy Made His Presence Known in Ponderosa's 42-14 Victory

De'Alcapon Veazy was a major factor in Ponderosa's win over Golden on Friday. Veazy was unstoppable, rushing for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.

Ponderosa pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Bear Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dakota Ridge Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Landon Kalsbeck

Dakota Ridge picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Landon Kalsbeck. Kalsbeck turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 61 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also picking up 46 receiving yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up 0.5 sacks and made six total tackles.

Dakota Ridge pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Kalsbeck and Dakota Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Golden at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Rounding off our Top Five is Brooks Hamlett of Highlands Ranch. Hamlett picked up 19 receiving yards and a touchdown.
