Volleyball Recap: Knippa Comes Up Short

Knippa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Center Point Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crushers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Knippa's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Center Point, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Knippa will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Sabinal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Center Point, they will welcome San Antonio Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
