Softball Recap: Beddingfield Takes a Loss

If Beddingfield was riding high fresh off their 15-9 takedown of Southern Wayne two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bruins lost 23-0 to the Greene Central Rams on Monday.

Beddingfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Greene Central, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-21.

Coming up, Beddingfield will square off against Princeton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.47 runs per game on average), something the Bruins will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Greene Central, they will challenge North East Carolina Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
