Basketball Recap: Martin County Gets the Win

Martin County won the last time they faced Pikeville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Martin County Cardinals walked away with a 74-63 victory over the Pikeville Panthers.

Martin County's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Pikeville, they moved to 3-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Martin County Cardinals duke it out with the Shelby Valley Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shelby Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Martin County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pikeville, they will welcome Pike County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
