There's no place like home for Page, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 60-46 win over the Northwest Guilford Vikings on Friday. The Pirates' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Amari Robinson was the offensive standout of the contest as he went 6-for-15 to rack up 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. Lucas Schwab was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven boards.

Page was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Despite the defeat, Northwest Guilford had strong showings from Roman Solheim, who posted 15 points and eight rebounds, and Corey Thomas, who earned 14 points and eight boards. The game was Solheim's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was DaMarco Boyles, who put up seven points.

The victory got Page back to even at 2-2. As for Northwest Guilford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Page and High Point Central will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Pirates will need to watch out since the Bison have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Northwest Guilford and Southern Lee will compete for holiday cheer at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
