Softball Game Preview: Shawnee Golden Eagles vs. Moore Mustangs

Shawnee hasn't had much luck against Moore recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Shawnee's offense. They lost 17-0 to Valley on Thursday. The Golden Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, Moore also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against North Bullitt back in March, falling 18-0. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

Moore's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shawnee, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Shawnee might still be hurting after the 20-1 defeat they got from Moore in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
