Football Recap: Taconic Takes a Loss

Taconic lost against South Hadley back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thunder took a 28-14 bruising from the Tigers. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Hadley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Hambley out in front who picked up 90 receiving yards, and also rushed for 63 yards. The Tigers also got a significant boost from Jhaymhar Henry, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 91 yards.

Taconic's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South Hadley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taconic will square off against Hoosac Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hurricanes' defense has only allowed ten points per game this season, so the Thunder's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for South Hadley, they will take on Holyoke at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
