Dresden waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Greenfield Yellowjackets 42-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

It was another big night for Luke Di Pietro, who rushed for 165 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Bruce Willis was another key player, throwing for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Dresden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 282 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 196 rushing yards in six consecutive games.

Dresden's record is now 6-2. As for Greenfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Dresden and Greenfield will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Lions see the field they'll take on South Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Greenfield, their break will end when they face Lake County at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
