First Assembly Christian Academy had won eight straight games and Sean James did his part to make it nine on Friday. The First Assembly Christian Academy Eagles walked away with a 36-28 victory over the Southside Christian Patriots thanks to James, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of First Assembly Christian Academy's points.

First Assembly Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Southside Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
