Softball Recap: Plainview Takes a Loss

Plainview lost against Amarillo back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Sandies by a score of 4-3. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plainview saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alani Trevino, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Plainview's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Amarillo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6-1 record this season.

Plainview will challenge Lubbock-Cooper at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Amarillo, they will take on Caprock at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
