Baseball Recap: Water Canyon Comes Up Short

Water Canyon fell victim to Milford and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Milford Tigers, falling 16-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Water Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Milford, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Water Canyon will venture away from home to square off against Beaver at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Milford, they are on the road again on Friday to play Manti at 12:00 p.m. Milford knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Manti likes a good challenge.
