Basketball Recap: Wall Victorious

Wall won the last time they faced White River, and Brittney Walker did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wall Eagles walked away with a 64-54 victory over the White River Tigers on Thursday thanks in part to Walker, who dropped a triple-double on 26 points, 11 boards, and 13 steals. Wall is 2-1 when Walker posts five or more steals, but 6-7 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Riggens Cheney, who posted four points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Those three blocks gave her a new career-high.

The win got Wall back to even at 8-8. As for White River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Wall has already played their next contest, a 53-45 victory against Faith on the 8th. As for White River, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-48 win against New Underwood on the 8th.
