The Mastery Warrior fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They pulled ahead with a 30-29 photo finish over Camden Catholic.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mastery to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quamir Hicks, who rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown. Jaiden Steele did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 81 receiving yards.

Mastery's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Camden Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Mastery does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Camden Catholic will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Paul VI at 6:00 p.m. on November 23rd. One thing working in Paul VI's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three games.
