It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westminster can now relate to. They lost 10-4 to the Rancho Mirage Rattlers on Saturday. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Marlene Vegara Tlaseca made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Westminster's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Rancho Mirage, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Westminster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rancho Mirage, they will square off against Culver City at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Rattlers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Centaurs have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
