Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Evergreen

The Heritage Timberwolves will head out on the road to take on the Evergreen Plainsmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Heritage is headed into the contest having not lost since March 20 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Mountain View finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Evergreen entered their tilt with Prairie on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Falcons a 3-0 shutout. Given Evergreen's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Prairie are ranked 223rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Evergreen now has a winning record of 6-5. Heritage's draw makes their record 8-3-2 this season.

Heritage beat Evergreen 3-1 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
